Wish list

This is a place to capture features that scientific users of geobrowsers would like to see in future versions of software/specifications.  If you add to this list, please give a short description of the requested feature and a link to the original blog post.

KML

  • Embed data in XML, but have XSLT transform to render to HTML for display in pop-up bubbles in (for example) Google Earth (see comment 3 on this blog post)

Google Earth

  • Ability to visualize data below sea level
  • 3-D representation of ocean bathymetry
