Brief description

Ecological Modeller, Central Science Laboratory, York

Who am I?

I work at the Central Science Laboratory, York, which is an executive agency of Defra. I completed my PhD in 2006 and now have a permanent research position at this institution. My research interests include: agent-based and individual-based modelling, computer simulation of crop pest population dynamics and dispersal, the implications of landscape and environmental change, grid computing, geographical information systems, environmentally sensitive farming and predicting the implications of policy change for agricultural landscapes.
