Flash-based WebGIS: BeeldBlad and FlamingoMC

I have just come across two new (well, new to me) free Flash-based WebGIS frameworks that allow you to display map-based data on the web:

  • FlamingoMC: http://www.flamingo-mc.org/
  • BeeldBlad: http://nlr-gis.nlr.nl/beeldblad/ (Space Department of the National Aerospace Laboratory NLR, The Netherlands.)
Both look promising from my first experiments on the demo websites.
